Cover letters are available on the Pro and Premium plans.
After tailoring your CV, scroll down to the Generate More section and click Generate Cover Letter. CVShortlist will write a three-paragraph cover letter using your tailored CV and the job description — formatted for the specific role, company and market.
How to use your cover letter
- Copy the text and paste it into your email or application form
- Download as PDF or Word
- Edit to add personal details (e.g. how you heard about the role, or the hiring manager's name)
💡 Always read your cover letter before sending. Personalise the opening line if you know the hiring manager's name.
